About the Role

Due to continued growth, we’re seeking experienced Electricians to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance crews on Christmas Island.

Roster: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
Schedule: Monday to Saturday, Sundays off
Location: FIFO from Perth to Christmas Island
Work Type: Casual / ongoing opportunities

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant electrical systems in mining environments
  • Performing electrical maintenance on crushers, conveyor systems, vibrating screens, pumps, motors & associated fixed plant equipment
  • Preventative maintenance, inspections & breakdown repairs
  • HV installation, switching and troubleshooting (desirable)
  • Instrumentation support and control system fault finding (desirable for dual trade / E&I exposure)
  • Responding to breakdowns and ensuring safe, efficient restoration of plant operations
  • Working collaboratively within a high-performing maintenance crew to maintain plant reliability

What We’re Looking For (What You Need to Join)

  • WA Electrical Licence (A Grade Electrician)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid, CPR & LVR certificates
  • Certificate IV in Instrumentation (highly desirable)
  • HV Switching ticket (highly desirable)
  • National Police Clearance (within 3–6 months or willing to obtain)
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in fixed plant or mining environments
  • Excellent commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
