About the Role:

Due to continued growth, Mader are currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Fixed Plant Maintenance team on a permanent, full-time basis. 

Reporting to the Shutdown & Projects Area Manager, this role will be focused on leading mechanical maintenance crews on fixed plant equipment  primarily on shutdowns & projects throughout the WA region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Execution & coordination of various shutdowns & projects to a high quality including planning, scheduling, budgets, tooling and resource allocation
  • On-site Leadership, coaching, and development of operational and project teams 
  • Oversee continuous process improvement opportunities
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and adherence

What do I need to join?

  • Experience leading a team within a mining environment
  • Experience in planning, prioritising, and managing concurrent tasks
  • Trade Certificate - Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker
  • Section 26
  • Drivers Licence
  • National Police Check within 6 months or willing to get
  • Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Strong commitment towards safety and quality
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, and database systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and team leadership skills
