About the Role

Mader are currently seeking Heavy Duty Diesel Fitters to join our Southern QLD team in either floating field service, shutdowns or a rostered maintenance role. You will be working on a variety of mining equipment including dump trucks, diggers, drills and ancillary equipment of OEM brands: CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr. 

What's On Offer?

• Competitive pay: $70–$85/hr + 12% super on all hours (this is dependent on role and experience)
• Paid travel (site/roster dependent)
• Flexible rosters: 7/7, 2/1 or longer
• Diverse breakdown and shutdown work across leading OEMs (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, etc.)
• Local applicants encouraged, FIFO or DIDO available
• OEM Training, HRWL Tickets & Leadership programs.

What You’ll Need?

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (or equivalent) - RPL options are available 
• Strong field service and mining breakdown experience 
• Full Australian Working Rights 
• Valid Manual Driver's License 
• Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain) 
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical & provide a National Police Check
• Strong initiative, problem-solving skills and a safety-first mindset
